Awareness Programme Held Successfully for the Staff of the North Central Provincial Chief Secretary’s Office – 2026.10.07

An awareness programme for the staff of the Chief Secretary’s Office was successfully held on October 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Provincial Council Auditorium, under the guidance and instructions of Mr. J.M.R.P. Jayasinghe, Chief Secretary of the North Central Province. The event was conducted by Mrs. R.M.P.D. Pushpa Kumari, Head of the Internal Affairs Unit, along with the unit’s member officers and support staff. All officers of the Chief Secretary’s Office participated in this programme.

The objective of this awareness programme was to foster positive attitudes and integrity among the staff by educating them on the structural composition of the Internal Affairs Unit, as well as the Constitution and acts that empower the unit. It also emphasized how these practices generate favorable impacts on individuals, their family environments, and society at large. Additionally, the session provided a detailed explanation of how the unit collaborates with the Presidential Secretariat and the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), alongside an introduction to the data system recently introduced by the Presidential Secretariat.
