Special Discussion Between the World Food Programme (WFP) and the Chief Secretary’s Office – 2026.10.14

A special discussion was held on October 14, 2026, at the Chief Secretary’s Office, chaired by the Director (Planning) and the Accountant of the Partnership Secretariat for World Food Programme (WFP) Cooperation.

During the meeting, matters related to Sri Lanka’s Country Strategic Plan were reviewed in detail, alongside the current progress of the “Sow and Grow” program, which is implemented to improve nutrition and agricultural knowledge among school children.

Numerous officials representing the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture, and Ministry of Health of the North Central Province participated in this meeting.
