Discussion Held Regarding Preliminary Investigations and Disciplinary Inquiries – 3rd Quarter – 2026 – 2026.11.06

A discussion regarding the disciplinary inquiries and preliminary investigations conducted by the Ministries and Departments of the North Central Province for the 3rd Quarter of 2026 was held today at the Chief Secretary’s Office, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chief Secretary (Administration), Mrs. G.K.S. Chandralatha.

During the meeting, Administrative Officers, Chief Management Service Officers, and Subject Officers from institutions where disciplinary inquiries and preliminary investigations have been delayed for more than 3 months were brought together. Mrs. G.K.S. Chandralatha, Deputy Chief Secretary (Administration), alongside Administrative Officer Mr. J.W.R. Thilakarathna, analyzed the reasons for these delays and provided necessary guidance on avoiding future backlogs to ensure investigations are conducted in a timely manner. Officers representing 10 Ministries and Departments participated in this discussion.
