Secretariat Committee Meeting 2026/09/02

The Secretariat Committee of the North Central Provincial Council convened for its scheduled meeting on September 02, 2026, at the Chief Secretary’s Office in Anuradhapura. The high-level session was chaired by Mr. J.M.R.P. Jayasingha, Chief Secretary of the North Central Province, and brought together key senior officials, including all provincial ministry secretaries and deputy chief secretaries under the provincial council.

During the meeting, the committee carried out a comprehensive performance review focusing on the province’s overall administrative efficiency, budget utilization, and financial stability. Participants closely evaluated the ongoing physical and financial progress of provincial development projects to ensure they remain on track and aligned with designated timelines. Concluding the meeting, Chief Secretary Mr. Jayasingha highlighted key areas for future improvement and urged all officers to maintain active inter-departmental collaboration to elevate public service delivery throughout the region.
