Training Program on the Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology

A workshop on providing and encouraging entrepreneurs, youth, and school students studying Information Technology and Technology-related subjects in the Anuradhapura District to acquire the knowledge, skills, and practical experience in AI required for the business sector, familiarizing them with the use of emerging technologies, and introducing new technology-based marketing opportunities was organized by the Ministry of Trade and Food, Youth Affairs of the North Central Province.

The program was conducted under the theme “The Key to the Modern World.” Mr. R.B.G. Menikdiwela of the News and Current Affairs Division of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation participated as the resource person.

Governor’s Private Secretary Mr. Samarathunga Herath, Chief Secretary Mr. Ranjana Jayasinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Transport, Youth Affairs, Cooperative, Trade, Food and Industrial Development Mr. M. Sris Kandhakumar, school teachers, school students, and a large number of trainees also participated in the event.
